Is Capsiplex a Safe Product?

Capsiplex appears to be a safe product when used as indicated. It is made of natural or naturally derived ingredients from vegetables that are safe or generally recognized as safe for consumption. The recommended dose is one pill or capsule a day after breakfast or 30-60 minutes prior to exercising. It can be taken with a glass of water. Many consumers are wary of miraculous claims when it comes to diet and weight loss. Many have tried different diets and pills and have failed terribly. Such diets and pills have caused strain and unwanted health problems. Some of these health problems have been very severe such as heart palpitations, sleep problems, addiction, irritability and anxiety. Many of them are very hesitant to try another miraculous pill.

Capsiplex Clinical Study Results:

“278 more calories burned before, during and after exercise”

How much is 278 calories worth?

- 2 chocolate chip cookies

- 1 hour and 20 minutes of walking at a moderate pace(2mph)

- 1 burger

- 25 minutes of jogging (10 minutes mile, 6 mph)

- 1 piece of cheese pizza

- ½ bagel with 1T cream cheese

All testimonials and claims, however, point to the natural ingredients of this appetite suppressant and their safety as there are no side effects. The main ingredients are capsaicin, niacin, piperine and caffeine. Capsaicin is extracted from red hot peppers and works by generating body heat, a process called thermogenesis. By generating more heat, the organism burns more calories. This heat generation is similar to that during exercise or strenuous activities. Metabolism also increases for a longterm benefit. There is only a slight amount of caffeine that does not seem to cause problems unless the individual does not consume any caffeine at all.

While the ingredients appear to be natural and safe for use, the amounts of each ingredient in one capsule are not provided. Usually, food and drug labels list all the ingredients and the amounts of certain nutrients.

I could not find online a Capsiplex label and there was one comment by a user that the amounts are not listed on the bottle label. A safe substance can sometimes become unsafe if consumed in large quantities no matter how benign it is in small quantities.
